Random Pics

I wanted to share some random pics of NYC.

This is JOLLIBEE...it's a fast food chain from the Philippines. The first one on the East Coast opened in Woodside, the next neighborhood over from us. This was the line the day after it opened on Feb 14. Our friends just drove by last week and said there is still a line out the door. I guess everyone likes comfort food. : )





On one of our many walks around the hood we found a church called St.Paul's, which the name of our church in Atlanta. Looks a bit different.


I love the tree lined streets in our neighborhood.



There is an apartment building in Sunnyside that has some tacky stuff outside of it. This was what they had during Valentine's Day. They had a Santa out in Dec. I kept walking by a couple of weeks ago hoping for a Leprechaun :).



This was the snow we got on March 2...pretty until it melts.



I had to take a pic of these boys with their sleds. They actually sell sleds up
here b/c it snows. In GA when we would get freak snows we would have to use the lids to our trash cans or flattened cardboard boxes...oh the south : )



This is the restaurant that they show at the beginning of Seinfeld. I nanny near there.





This was one of the first warmer days we'd had. We passed this park and it wa full of families playing. They were all so happy to be out of their apartments and getting fresh air.



This is the Spanish theatre in our hood. I took a pic for my amigos in Atlanta.
